We have a D5/D6 match up between Berlin Brothersvalley and Northern Cambria. Congrats to both teams on making the finals. Should be a good one! A great showing by our local area claiming 3 of the final four with NC beating Bishop Carroll to advance

Congratulations to both. Hoping D5 can bring home 1 or 2 championships!

Has Berlin ever had a team (any sport) make the championship game before?

Ridiculous this match has to be played @ Cumberland Val., 3 hrs. away from either school.

Not really, that's where the state championship match is. Everyone knew that when the season started.

No, I believe the closest Berlin has come was the 4 minute, 2 score lead blown to Ferrell in the Western Football Final (which would've been another 5/6 matchup with BG).
I think people are upset because NS played at Richland not long ago, but that was predetermined as well right?

Yes, all state championships and district championships have predetermined locations.

Lets have a little common sense here and other PIAA sports as well.  They're in it for the MONEY, so wouldn't it make common sense to be somewhat flexible with regards to sites?  A closer local venue, say UPJ or another local arena/ gym, pack the house, whereas both teams traveling to CV 3 hrs. or more, in the weather we're expecting this weekend, will really cut down on fan participation and all their $$$  I really should stop making sense.
