I heard a couple of the volleyball coaches are starting an "elite" volleyball league for chosen junior high level volleyball players.

Yeah I heard about that too, and there should be some pretty good players on that team! Liz Crabtree, Brandy Harris,Lauren Burket, and Laura Nouse looked pretty darn good this year.

They should be a pretty good team if they pick the top players and give it their all!!

Do these girls compete in Tourneys or just locally?

I've heard they'll be going to tournaments as far away as Philadelphia. It should be good experience for them and help the volleyball team in future years if they stick with it.

Hummm, they should put it in the paper with a team picture or something so people would know what is going on.

How do the junior high girls get picked? Do they have scouts go to their games and choose only a certain few for the Olympic volleyball team?
