LHAC Tournament cancelled

My questions/thoughts:

1 - Who told Creps/Bedford officials that things were a go? An LHAC official appears to be the case per RSpring, but confirmation would just about absolve D6.

2 - When the LHAC made the decision to have the event ~Jan. 2012, was it to be held regardless of whether it cost points or not?

3 - Before the season don't coaches/ADs review schedules to determine point totals before the season? If so didn't the LHAC tournament stick out as an event that needed to be verified of being 0 points?

4 - Communication was made with D5 by Bedford and Somerset in May and D5 basically put things on hold waiting for D6 to act ... did D5/Bedford/Somerset ever revisit the issue?

5 - I'm glad D6 officials/Dave Crumrine gave their side of the story Friday. He's a good and honest man.

So D6 committee is upset that the LHAC tournament "is not a true championship"? Doesn't D5 take the exact opposite approach, not permitting the WestPac to keep score during their tourney?
