Conner Buttry to West Virginia

Post by SportsFan96 »

Saw that CR's Conner Buttry has committed to West Virginia University for wrestling.
He's a hard worker, gets good grades and is a good kid who stays out of trouble....well deserved.

WVU was 9-9 last year 0-3 in the big 12. They qualified 4 guys for the NCAA tournament and scored 23.5 points between them. Zeke Moisey (125 lbs)  had 19 of those points with his 2nd place finish. The other three qualifiers were Michael Morales (141) 3.5 points, Jakob Scheffel (184) 0 points, and Jake Smith (197) 1 point. They should put up better numbers this year with some good freshman coming in (provided they don't red shirt) and transfer and former NCAA qualifier Dylan Cottrell.
