Garbinsky is at Flo Nationals at Walsh Jesuit in Ohio. The top seeds at 130 look pretty stiff. Devin Carter 3x Va STATE CHAMP, Jason Tsirtsis soph, 2x Indiana state champ (beat schopp 1-0 at nationals last year)younger brother of Iowa's 2x ncaa champ, freshman phenom from Iowa state champ, and a kid from Minnesota w/196 wins, and a 3x state champ from WV. plus Garbinsky and another half dozen Pa kids and Jesuits' 130 pounder who won the Beast and Ohios' state tourney this year. AJ just got his nose fixed and isn't competing this week.

RJ Brydon (FH) won the NHSCA Sophomore National Championship at 140. He defeated Jared Reis 6-4 in the finals. Reis is the 2010 state champ from South Dakota. He also defeated a Maryland state champ in the tournament.

Congrats to RJ. Great finish to his season. Also congrats to Ryan Burnheimer of Westy, Nat's winner @ 189. Westy also had high finishers in Josh Polacek and Josh Duplin. They will have a great duals team again the next couple seasons.

Garbinsky just teched a 2X WV state champ Rusty Maness 15-0 in the quarters, wrestles in the semi's in the morning. here's a link to the match video if interested...registration at flowrestling is free. http://www.flowrestling.org/videos/wres ... -maness-wv

Garbinsky wrestles Jason Tsirtsis in the semifinals. the younger brother of Iowa national champ Alex Tsirtsis(yeah the one everyone booed at nationals a couple years ago) the younger Tsirtsis has a win (1-0) over Schopp last year at nationals and is a 2x state champ as a soph.

Tsirtsis won 11-2. Much closer match than the score, 3-2 Tsirtsis with under a minute to go, and it looked like the takedown was gonna win it, ...Ronnie looked like he had Tsirtsis on his back and the kid held on the leg and managed to funk his way outta trouble and get the takedown, he turned ronnie twice the last couple seconds, you can probably find that match at the second link i posted, they got the semi's going live on 2 cameras on the first link now.
