Toughest weight classes in the SW region?
If you were to rank the top 3 weight classes what would they be?

I would go with 113,152 and HWT. But there are several others that could be considered.

Yo I gotta says 152, but as da bump said from Hyndman 145 is no picnic either.
Re: Toughest weight classes in the SW region?
195 should be one of if not top three toughest brackets
D-6: Oliver, Beckwith, Kyle
D-7: Grinnen, Robb
D-5: Bennett, Cahill, Buttry

It's my understanding that Conor Buttry is 182 ... and Austin is HWT ...LionDad wrote:195 should be one of if not top three toughest brackets

If you go by #of wrestlers ranked in top 16... Hwt would be toughest with 7 kids
145 and 195 have 6 each . 113 might be best semi matches, tied with several other weights with 5 kids but all 5 are inside top 10... That's top heavy!

agree with the weights listed 113, 152 and HWT are very deep.
Some Story lines im looking at are who makes it out at 113? There are 6 very good wrestlers at 113. Carr vs Easter round #3. Can Crouse & Clarr finally punch their tickets to Hershey? Who comes out on top at HWT? I feel like anyone of the top 5 could win at HWT.
Should be a very interesting SW this year. Some weights really stacked, others kind of weak compared to years past.

Although heavyweight class may have six kids in the rankings at the southwest you have to look at the talent level there and if you do that
you see it is not that very good. All you have to do is look at some of these heavyweights and see that they have lost to kids who wrestle 220 and
even 195 that tells me that they are not as good as some people think. I also believe that 160 weight class may be the weakest class in south west regional
and possibly the state. 113, 145, 152 will have some quality wrestlers sitting at home come time for states. I think 170 is pretty weak as well and could
give 160 a battle for the weakest class. I am sure many will argue this point but that's how I see it.
