Opinions on possible D5 state placers?

2. Burkett
3. Buttry
4. Swank
a lot of good talent, but haven't shown ability to place. here are some maybe's
2 foctmans, 2 cahills, fabain, big boy from Meyersdale, McCoy, Claar, Crouse

Don't forget Strasiser as a sleeper from NS! Also, I Reed will place again at heavyweight!

I heard Reed is not eligible to wrestle this year.

I think those are real stretches for sleepers as far as state place winners.


They may be sleepers to get to states.

Of the sleepers the only one I would say is a realistic sleeper is kolinchak

Kolinchek is a good call, I forgot about him. I would have put him on the maybe list.

And exactly where is Hemminger on this list?!

Somerset could send several to states. Cole finished 6th at regionals last year as a freshman..Hemminger will be tough as a sophomore, he wrestled really well as a freshman also, beat some good kids to earn a trip to states...Fabian and Wagner will be really good...and Eller has a good chance to go deep...Somerset has a good group coming up from Jr. High...They have a talented team that could send 5-6 to states. They will also put a full team on the mat this year.

5 or 6 to states? That'd be a perfect season for them. I'd love to see it but I don't think it'll happen.
