These are the ranked wrestlers from Districts 5 and 6 in the state as of January 5 2015, according to the OFF THE MAT rankings. I took ranked wrestlers from 1st to 8th, provided they stay at the displayed weights. Would anyone like to comment on the rankings and will they be accurate at the end of the year?

Mark Dugan preps these, I think that he does his homework pretty well. Law is ranked 9th, with a loss to #8 George of Richland. George also has a win over #11 Swank of Berlin. Law's best PA AA win is over #14 Komara of Freedom...Law also has nice wins over Dietrich of Butler (AAA) and Smith of Colonial Forge (Virginia) that aren't as easy to factor.

Anyway the OTM rankings at 132:

1)Myers Boiling Springs - 120 PIAA champ last year
2)Lane Southern Columbia - 120 PIAA #2 last year
3)Phillippi Derry - 120 PIAA #3 last year, 113 champ prior year
4)Giorgio Schuykill Valley - 126 PIAA #2 last year, 2 wins over #6 Hepler.
5)Bartolo Reynolds - 1-2 @ PIAA last year. Has a win over 138 #10 Luke Walter Grove City this year. Went 4-0 @ Cantfield Duals in OH, where Reynolds, the top ranked AA school went 2-2. Finished round of 12 at Powerade.
6)Hepler TriValley - 106 7th @ PIAA last year. 2nd @ Top Hat, lost by fall to Giorgio, then later lost to him 4-1. Win over #7 Williams. Took 2 big school losses @ Bethlehem Classic.
7)William Central Columbia - 126 4th @ PIAA last year. Only loss 4-3 to Hepler, though competition faced isn't that recognizable to me.
8) George Richland -126 SW 6th last year, win over #9 Law and #11 Swank. 2 AAA losses @ West Mifflin tournament.
9) Law Forest Hills - 120 5th @ PIAA last year. Loss to #8 George. Win over #14 Komara.

As I look at things, top 4 should be ahead of the rest of the pack. Law should be behind George based on the head to head result, and I have no issue with #s 5, 6, and 7 being ahead of George.

So Manfred, to answer your question about who's not doing their homework, I'd say that the answer is Manfred.

Number #1 at 106 is the freshman from Jefferson Morgan I'm guessing? If so that could be a Thomas tourney finals match.

Correct on Teasdale @ 106.

Thomas teams - 29 this year, featuring I believe:
#3,9,10,11,12,14,16,18,20, and 21.

Do any of these guys finish higher than their seeds are now? I'll even include those not in the top 8, since the question of Law not being on the list came up.
