What is the status of these guys going forward?

Can Beaver and McGill get eligible?

How hurt is Shane Davis?

Murin beat Link 5 straight before yesterday. Fluke, or was MM off his game?

From what I saw I would consider it a fluke. Murin was more of the aggressor the entire match. He was in on a descent single leg. Come up with it and from that point it happened so fast. He ended up straight on his back.

Funny you should mention that coach. Myself and a couple other wrestling parents wondered the same thing. There were quite a few in the top 7 of those weight classes that were beasts. You could tell they spend time in the weight room.

I went down to watch the finals. Link beating Murin was NOT a fluke. Link wrestled very smart and Murin put himself in one to many bad positions. Also judging my his antics afterwards he figured he had the match won already. A kid in high school should not be on the podium pouting with his chin glued to his chest. Kid needs to learn how to lose also. The matches between these two are always good. 1 or 2 points so I would hate to hear anyone say fluke and take away from young link. He wrestled smart and wrestled a better match plain and simple.
