District 6 Team Sat

CENTRAL vs. Huntingdon

106 Kline
113 ERNEST
120 Glorioso
126 BIDDLE
132 Scott
138 HOENSTINE
145 BIDDLE
152 Oliver
160 Simpson
170 Wagner
182 MOCK
195 Norris
220 CONRATH
285 BRUMBAUGH

Which would be a 7-7 split. 106 and 113 I'm thinking tossups for both of them. 120/126 Glorioso wins 1, CENTRAL wins the other. 132 Scott's return is huge. 145 a win by Baney would not surprise me. 152/160, Huntingdon would probably want Oliver/QUARELLO & Simpson/ULERY matchups...CENTRAL would probably want to matchup QUARELLO with Simpson to be favored to get a win. 170/182 has Wagner, Fisher, and MOCK...I gave 1 to CENTRAL, but Huntingdon winning both wouldn't surprise me. 220 Kocik returned from injury, really is a tossup match. 285 - CENTRAL forfeited against Mount Union, would be difficult to beat Huntingdon if they do that on Saturday.

Predictions from the D6 forum. I think they look pretty accurate. There will always be some moving around, bonus points earned/saved, and upsets. I don't think Central matches up well with Huntington. West Branch and Westmont could be interesting!

Huntington -vs- Central

106 - Kline by fall over Ulery 6-0
113 - Earnest by fall over Hoover 6-6
120 - Swab by dec over Benson 6-9
126 - Glorioso by dec over Biddle 9-9
132 - Scott by dec over Kennedy 12-9
138 - Hoenstein by fall over Shaeffer 12-15
145 - Quarello by dec over Baney 12-18
152 - Oliver by mdec over Biddle 16-18
160 - Simpson by dec over Ulery 19-18
171 - Wagner by mdec over Smith 23-18
182 - Fisher by dec over Mock 26-18
195 - Norris by fall over Gahagan 32-18
220 - Conrath by dec over Kocik 32-21
285 - Shope by FFT 38-21 Hunt

West Branch -vs- Westmont-Hilltop

106 - Christie by fall over Sample 0-6
113 - Couteret by mdec over Toney 4-6

I'd give WB a couple of the toss ups, and probably a few more falls in dual total. I'd say WB 42-29

Central's 285 did not attend school on Tuesday, and therefore was not eligible to wrestle.

Not sure why everyone is listing Kline at 106. He is not legally eligible for 108 on Saturday. He had a weigh in on 1/22 of 110.5 He cant legally lose 2.5 pounds in 9 days. He was able to make 108 on 28th because of 2 pound weight allowance but still has to follow his descent plan from 22nd.

As someone who doesn't know all the logistics of weight cutting and allowance for wrestling, if Kline got a 2 lb weight allowance on Wednesday, why wouldn't he get the same weight allowance on Saturday? Just asking how you can be eligible at a weight one day, and then not be eligible at the same weight 3 days later. Thanks.

If someone has a match the day before, you get an extra lb.
That was the difference

Pas I don't think that most people have access to weigh in weights.

Eaglealum - I'm pretty sure that none of the 3 schools involved had a match on Tuesday.

Why are weights different Wednesday vs. Saturday?
