I really like Hemminger at 145. He wrestled really well last weekend, pinning the 2 and 1 seed. He wrestled his best last year at the end of the year and appears to be doing the same this year.

I would say he has a lot of confidence going into Friday and I like him to get past either Patrick or Mears (whoever gets out of that half of the bottom bracket) but Vonne Sanders seems to be pretty confident after last week too. I can see any of those four guys having a chance at winning this weight so it wouldn't surprise me to see any of them take it.

I like these picks ... and I'll take Burkett over Teasdale at 106# ... and McCoy over Howard in SF, so Glorioso over McCoy at 120# ...

They've got the HWT bracket fixed here now ... http://liveresults.escapesports.com/PIA ... SW_AA.html# ... and it's going to be fun to watch to see who comes in 2nd + 3rd + 4th + 5th ... hope it includes at least one of the D5 boys ... might it include all 3? Nah ... but 2 of the 3 would be nice :-)

Question: how many non-district champs will win a Regional title? I'll set the over/under at 1.5 ...

Just so people know (not that it really matters on our board) but the kid from Jeannette's first name is Gio Vonne and his last name is Sanders. Patrick beat him twice this year so I would take Patrick as the favorite at 145.

Wow picking McCoy over Howard is going out on a limb. I thought Howard majored him at Thomas. I can see him closing the gap but not beating him. First he has to get to him, Carnell Andrews is no joke JO state champ last 2 years and gave Jacob Lizak all he wanted. I think Crouse beats Oliver In a close one Trent has to big a gas tank. Im not sure he can run with Wensel but should be exciting to watch.
