Win 2 before you lose 2 = trip to states. Pretty sure that's how it works.

Actually, what I think has happened is that now SW Region gets 6 thru to States ... so semi-finalists are guaranteed to finish top-6 so they have punched their ticket to Hershey already ...

Anyone have any details on the Swank DQ? Just curious as to if there was controversy or if it was legitimate. Thanks.

Knops on chat at tribdem.com is suggesting it was controversial ... noting that Ging has "miraculously" recovered and will be wrestling next match.

A slam was not originally called. Ging was beat swank out wrestled him. There were only a few seconds left. He could have stood up long enough to take the loss he deserved. No disrespect to him but that's the truth.
