Paul Myers, who wrestled at Penn Cambria as well as UPJ and SIUE before becoming an assistant coach at PC and last year at Hollidaysburg, has been named the new coach at Bishop McCort. From what he told me, it sounds like he has the right approach to the job. What do you think?

I thought Johnny Rizzo was a good fit there, why didn't they retain him after his interim appointment?

Johnny is young, he may have a new job since last year. i think he was a volunteer assistant that was promoted to co-head coach out of need.

He never wanted it long term. He is planning to go to law school.

I didn't hear anything official, but I think he wanted a job within the school in addition to coaching, and that didn't work out.

Shad was out before the start of last season after District 6 found recruiting violations.

New Bishop McCort wrestling coach
