I heard that WJAC-TV 6 is going to carry 72 non-stop hours of Giuseppe Verdi's requiem mass in honor of Murtha. Every 15 minutes Marty Radovanic is going to give us his ever so brilliant commentary.

Condolences to the Murtha family. End of an era.

Maybe Choby finally has a shot.
A Canadian reporter, while interviewing a U.S. Marine sniper on duty in the Middle East, asked: "What do you feel when you shoot a terrorist?" The Marine thought for a second, shrugged, and replied, "Recoil."

Thanks to the efforts of John Murtha, who was first elected to congress in 1974, Johnstown is what it is today.

A lot better off than it would have been without him. And so is the whole country for that matter.
