The Democrats simply aren’t satisfied with their budget-busting proposals such as health care reform and cap and trade; they couldn’t help but increase federal spending by 12.2% for fiscal year 2010 while the American people continue to slash their budgets in order to pay for food, heat and clothing. The measure contains 5,224 pet projects for lawmakers totaling $3.9 billion, according to Taxpayers for Common Sense, a Washington-based watchdog group......Sen. Patty Murray, Washington Democrat, who leads the transportation, housing and community development spending panel, obtained 61 earmarks worth $68.8 million in programs under her jurisdiction, including $1.2 million for infrastructure improvements for the Port of Everett, Wash. The bill would also void a long-standing ban on the funding of abortion by the District of Columbia government

I read last week that the only employer hiring is the FED GOVT and that their salaries are growing at the fastest pace in decades. The Average FED worker makes 71,000 v. 35,000 in the private sector. Hmm, I thought Barry was going to change the status quo? All he has done is accelerate the growth of gov't, spending, and taxes.

I didn't realize that was old news. I must have missed it... I just saw it on Leno the other night. During his standup, Jay had a part where he asked the audience who said that quote I posted below: Bart Simpson or Joe Biden??. It's pretty pathetic when we have a VP who constantly is inserting his foot into his mouth and is now getting comparisons to a cartoon character.
