As usual, Thomas Sowell (who happens to be a black man for those of you who don't know him), hits the nail on the head. I love how his articles routinely slap liberals along side the head with a backhand of common sense.

Enjoy.

Here's an interesting article to ponder as the liberal media gushes over Democrats appointing the first Hispanic to the SC.

Oh, those Democrats. They sure do love minorities, don't they? As long as they fall in line with their thinking.

What is very interesting is how the Democrats destroyed the nomination of Miguel Estrada several years back because he was too "extreme". Yet nothing was ever mentioned about Obama (while in the Senate) and his other gang filibustering an Hispanic. Now we are to accept this wonderful nominee because she has a great story and how historic her appointment is.

This presidency truly is leading us to hell. There has not been a truly patronage system in this country at work since Richard Nixon (and before that Andrew Jackson). Just wait until ACORN is handling the census next year, oh, and the taxing of our health care benefits to give health care to millions of new Democratic party voters.
