Did I see where Mount Union got beat by Everett in baseball? Everett is a little down this year. Did the Trojans take them to lightly? I was shocked when I saw that score.

They let one slip away against Everett, which even the best teams will do from time to time. They bounced back with a 5-1 win over Claysburg-Kimmel today and have another test on Friday against neighboring Southern Huntingdon.

8-0 Mount Union. Brock Goodling was a single out from a perfect game I've been told. No clue on who pitched for Tussey.

Actually he was 2 outs away from a no hitter. He gave up a shot up the middle then the got the last 2 outs. So he had a 1 hitter...

How are the trojans looking for the first playoff game against central cambria? I assume Dixon will pitch? Does CC have any players to worry about?

According to an LHAC friend and maxpreps....
Hitting: SS McGregor .431 3HR 21 RBI, C Cornetti .411 4HR 19 RBI, OF Petrosky .407 9RBI
Pitching: Nalisnick 24.2 IP 1.98 ERA 46 K, McGregor 20 IP 3.15 ERA 22 K

A couple decent hitters, but doesn't look like anything to worry about. Probably going to see the Nalisnick kid on the mound.
Should we pitch Dixon, or save him for a better team like Bishop McCort in the second round?

When are the second round games? If they are Tuesday, we could probably pitch Dixon both games.
Nalisnick has some good stats, did your LHAC friend give you any more of a scouting report?
