Class A: Remaining teams are: 1 seed Berlin, 2 seed Southern Fulton, 3 seed Meyersdale and 5 seed Rockwood. ROckwood rides the reliable arm of Troy Emert. Should he be eligible to pitch, ROckwood will be in the game against Berlin. Berlin has Nick Gooden who is certainly reliable as well. The teams split in the regular season with ROckwood losing 10-9 and winning 3-0. Both pitchers will be available. With Berlins top of the order being strong. I will take Berlin in a squeaker. Meyersdale Southern is a rematch where Meyersdale won 7-4. Meyersdale has Riley Christner who will be the difference maker in a good game. Who wins the gold? The Red Raiders.

Class AA: 1 seed Conemaugh Township v 3 seed of North Star. North Star has yet to score on the Indians this season through two games. The Indians have won 9-0 and 7-0. I wouldn't expect a shutout in round 3. Will the Cougars roll with Novak who is 3-3 on the year (pitched game 2) or Schrock who is 2-2 (game 1)? Will the Indians ride the Senior Grosik, Junior Platt, or Sophomore Foster? The Indians pitching staff currently leads the state in all classifications with 213 k's on the season. That will keep them in the game in the majority of games. North Star breaks the scoring column this round as they have been solid as of late. I predict CT in a close one.

AAA: Not to familiar with Everett or Chestnut Ridge. Chestnut Ridge has a young man by the name of Phillip Dull that I would place my bet on being the difference maker. I would say Ridge moves on to play the District 9 team to see who moves into inter districts.

Ready.... Go! Let's hear your thoughts!

My bad. Goes to show I haven't followed AAA. Was Dull a difference maker? Had to get something going for D5.
