NBC should be the best in the area. 8 or 9 returning starters and 3 exchange students will make next to impossible to beat.

how is NBC is the best in the area wen they just lost in a scrimmage to NS? Im going with Richland is the best in the area. They have 12 solid soccer stars that can play at a fast pace and pretty much possses around everyone which is very uncommon for school soccer, im looking forward to watching some of the games this season

i don't think you can really argue whether one team is better than another, especially when they don't play against each other. and like you said, they lost to NS in a scrimmage. most scrimmages are maybe a half of varsity and a half of JV. i don't think a scrimmage is a fair measuring stick.

NBC did not lose to NS. NBC had a 2 goal lead against North Star before putting in th JV's which gave up 3 goals in the second half.

Re: Best teams in the area?
If your going to look at that then Richland is better than both teams. They beat North Star 4-3 and the Varsity played the first half, richland winning 3-0 and having many many scoring chances, North Star only had 2 shots on goal the entire half. I vote for Richland by far the best in the area. They have an amazing group of guys that are all on the same page. The only thing Im worried about is the coaching change this year. They have a new coach, which from what I hear is inexperienced in Varsity play and is on the young side. I dont even think this is a question as to who the best in the area, it needs to be the best in D6 and D5.
D6-Richland
D5-Conemaugh Township from what I see at this point
