Does anyone know for playoffs if D5 is now seperate from D6 for AA? This would mean that Somerset and Bedford would be the only 2 teams playing for a D5 AA title. I have heard this from several people and wondering how true it is.

From what I have seen and heard for the SHL
NBC
Then it gets interesting after that, next should be mburg but they seem to find ways to not do as they should. They are under a new coach and maybe he can right that wrong. Every year CR and FM lose several good players and most think they are going to be down, but they find ways to reload. Both of those schools have played in 2 of the last 3 d5 A championship games. Bischof/hainsey and best/best combinations have done fine jobs the last couple of years. I am not sure if those coaching tandems are still in place or not. It will be interesting to see who asserts themselves as a contender and maybe bump NBC around some

Next is Fr
followed by
sf and everett

Out west my predictions draw from more speculation then knowledge
Could there be a changing of the guard?
windber
north star/ township
rockwood
berlin
sailsbury
jcs

then we cant forget hyndman.... I think they should push for a playoff spot

Big game tonight as McConnellsburg travels to NBC for the early lead in the SHL. This should be a dandy!

from what I heard mburg did not have much to offer nbc and then suffered another league loss to fm.

I was at the fm/mburg game. Score wise the game was close but mburg did not attack much. Fm controlled the pace of the game throughout although only being able to score once. Mburg did have a couple of nice opportunities but nothing that was sustainable.

Ridge has been playing teams tough, but is lacking some offensive punch. Fm seems to hitting mid season stride. mburg may be starting to slip just a bit and no one has been able to give nbc a league loss. It will be interesting to see how the second go around shakes things up

SHL standings
nbc = no losses no ties
fm = one loss and one tie
mburg= 2 losses and one tie
