If that is the worst thing CG has ever been called I would be shocked. Old School gets called worse even if he visits the grocery store!

I've said the team, the owner, and the trade returns have been bad on this very thread.
Makes me an apologist, I guess.

Did anyone else catch the phrases that Neal used in his recent presser? “If we return to playoff caliber, we hope the fanbase will return.” “This Team is going to show up and defy the odds.” Even he doesn’t have confidence in the returns from these moves.

So Elias Diaz's mother was kidnapped....I hope they're not wanting money from the Pirates.

Re: Pirates 2018
Pirates got rid of Daniel Hudson, which would have been enough for me. But they also added an All Star from last season in Corey Dickerson in the process.
Pretty good baseball move actually.
Dickerson 2017 - .282/.325/.504 27 Homers 62 RBI 166 hits.
McCutchen 2017 - .279/.363/.486 28 Homers 88 RBI 159 hits.
Not too much of a downgrade at least. Not going to make the Pirates instant contenders, but they go from having a questionable to at least a solidified outfield once again.

Re: Pirates 2018
Just looking at last year, this is the deal of a lifetime. Like you said, I would've been happy just getting rid of Hudson for a stick of gum, but to get something nice in return is great....we'll see how this pans out though. Hudson may be an All-Star and Dickerson plays like di....well you get the pictureCrimson's Ghost wrote:Pirates got rid of Daniel Hudson, which would have been enough for me.
