Call me an old man.  No Pittsburgh fans seem to enjoy the theatrics and dramatics surrounding this guy.
I would never pay a RB the money he wants.  Sorry man, those positions are too easy to replace.  He isn't a WR either.

The fans don't matter.  Especially the grumpy, old ones.

Antonio Brown did the exact opposite of bell today. Restructered his contract so it is less of a cap hit this year. He wants to win a superbowl for sure

And there you have the polar opposites of character and TEAM ideals. #84 makes me proud to wear his jersey.

Yes it helps the team but it's also a 100% win for AB as well. His contract for this year is now 100% guaranteed. He's not sacrificing anything.

Bell lets it be known today he will still play next year but unless a deal is done he will not show up for training camp or preseason games.

He also stated he wants 14.5 million a year but doesnt say for how many.

If its 2-4 thats do able but 5 or more is absurd

Bell is not worth $14.5m. No way, never.
There’s an old saying “Pigs get fat and HOGS get slaughtered”

I believe he is very good obviously, but he also plays behind arguably the best O-line in the league. The Steelers offered nearly $5.5m more a year than Freeman from Atlanta. Bell isn’t explosive enough to go 55 yards or more like Gurley or Fournette. Let’s stop acting like he’s the GOAT here. He’s never started and completed a FULL season yet in his career. Multiple injuries and suspensions. Last here he didn’t show up to camp and finally did Week 1 and it showed in his performance. Missing holes and endurance. They need to get some defenders if they want to be better in ‘18. I say trade him for a safety or LB. They can get any RB to come in and rush for 850+ and 6 TD’s plus 300+ and 2 TD’s receiving. Bell only had 9 rushing TD’s and 2 TD’s receiving. I just believe that’s way too much $$$ tied up in the running back position.

He had a full season just this past year. He completed 15 regular season games, the starters sat Week 17 and he played the playoff game.
