Landry Jones could have Barry Sanders in the backfield and he'd still be Landry Jones. Fournette was held in check after the injury, Bortles beat us in the air because our defense STUNK!

Well Ill list a few reasons below
1. He has never had a losing season
2. Has one of the highest career win % as a coach
3. He has been to 2 superbowls
4. He has won 1 superbowl
5. He has won 6 division titles
6. 8 double digit win seasons
But yeah he should be fired for some reason?

Tomlin has been both good and underachieved at the same time. Hard to fire one of top coaches in the league, but a few more years of the same, they may just mutually move on from each other.  There's probably 20 teams that would hire Tomlin in a heartbeat.

Talked to a friend that's a Lions fan a few weeks ago when everyone was bitching about Tomlin, and he generally said he hates how spoiled Steeler fans are. He said Lions fans would die for 13-3 seasons and playoff berths ect. Which, put a lot into perspective to me.

I see both sides of it.

We are spoiled as hell and i dont see either tomlin or pittsburgh moving on from each other if he continues to win division titles and not have losing seasons.

He is #2 behind Bellicheck for active coaches in a whole lot of categories. Why cant we chalk up the fact we lost to just a really good team?

Being a head coach in the NFL is quite a gig.  Your offense stinks?  Fire the OC.  Your defense stinks?  Fire the DC.  Your offense and defense stink?  Fire them both!  The Head Coach apparently just stands there.

Draft a new QB so you have the young QB excuse and buy yourself 2 years as well. You can prolong an NFL coaching job pretty easily, Jeff Fisher was the master.
