The Steelers aren't far from a Super Bowl next season, just some coaching tweaks and a few roster upgrades, and they should be right there again. Interested to see what else they do.  The window with Roethlisberger is closing. Next year they have to be thinking Super Bowl or bust.

Sounds like QB coach Randy Fichtner will be the next OC. I'm sure Haley won't be out of work long. His offense created a lot of yards for a lot of people.

Just hope they are willing to make some schematic changes on defense heading into next year.

I'm sure Haley will go to New England and will win the Super Bowl next year.

A lot of outsiders are going to ask why you fire The OC of potentially the best offense in the nfl. This may speak to how much control Ben had of the offense.

Exactly it! They chose Ben over Haley & now he will be the scapegoat. And I say the no QB sneaks was on ben. I don’t think he wants to get hit anymore.  But the main problem is the defense, period! They are soft & got pushed all over the field. And once Shazier got hurt their identity was lost. Micthell talks a big game but does nothing. They don’t have the defense that people used to be afraid of.

What i hated about the defense the most was the 5-8 guys all lining up on the line of scrimmage and no middle backers... This is why teams ran so well on them, get past the first level and boom there is no one to stop them
