Loyalsock Township alum Kyle Datres who pitched vs Central in the 2014 State Championship game and is currently the 3B for UNC was drafted in the 13th round by the Rockies today.

So what do you do? As a 29th round pick you're not going to get a lot of money. You're going to go to the low minors, ride buses and pretty much starve. But this could be your only shot.

Yeah based off the article in the Mirror he is leaning toward going to Pitt unless “the money is too good to turn down”.

Dont most college players play single A ball during summer? Baseball is one of those weird sports where you can somehow play profressionally in summertime but still play college.

I remember watching Russell Wilson play for the A Tri City Dust Devils the year before he transfered to wisconsin

Yes Crimson is correct. For example the A’s have agreed to contract with 1st round pick Kyler Murray that pays him close to $5M and allows him to play one season at QB for Oklahoma.
