Should the NBA end conferences?

With Lebron now with the lakers and a real lack of strong players moving to the east is it time to end the 2 conference structure in the NBA?

Nah, I think in a few years the East will be the better of the two.  It goes in cycles. Boston and Philly is going to be awesome for the next decade.

People have been saying the east is going to be better almost every offseason.

This news was great for tor, bos and philly but idk if any of those 3 teams would be top 4 in the west.

Demarcus Cousins to Golden State.

Could you imagine a first round playoff matchup of Miami and Portland?  

Would you play every team three times in the regular season?  The travel would be horrific

These players are already traveling all the time.... portland played NOs last playoffs. Is 1 or 2 extra hours of plane time really going to kill players?
