Was Ms. Smith being vindictive toward her husband? Did she want revenge for the way he treated her by getting him fired? It doesn't even make sense for her to want him to lose his job. Without employment, how's hubby gonna make those child support payments? How's he gonna make alimony payments (if required) if he ain't workin'. Did MS. Smith think things out before acting? Get professional advice before acting. Not saying her complaints weren't true, but don't act and then think later. Be careful what you wish for.
Can we just get this guy off the topic and site here. These posts are disturbing and sick. Meyers were a family friend to her. She didnt go to them hoping to get her husband fired but for support and help. What she didnt realized is almost all the family friends around here seemed to care about football more than her health.
You shouldnt have to think about who will help/listen to you when your partner is physically and mentally abusing you.

A husband and wife have a stormy relationship. It has now turned into physical abuse. Where can she go, and who can she rely on to help her? Should she go to:
...1) The local law enforcement agency
...2) Her family support system (parents, siblings, in-laws)
...3) Her church family
...4) Women's help centers
...5) Professional marriage counseling
...6) best friend or confidant
...7) her husband's boss
...8) the wife of her husband's boss
...9) the wives of other people her husband works with
...Who you gonna call?

The victim blaming that you keep laying out, and supported by your bff manfred, is quite disgusting/distasteful/immorral. The most sickening part is all of us here on the site know that if this was anything to do with Penn State you would be asking for the penn state person to be locked up forever. Just blocking you both now...

When replies to someone's posts start to involve name calling, it's a sure sign that the name-caller is running out of rational responses, or things to say in defense of his argument. Words like scum, disgusting, distasteful, immoral, sickening used to explain a position on a subject usually mean someone is running out of ammunition to defend a position. Too bad our discussion could not have been more civil.

No they are just the things that describe your character. You spent this whole time blaming the victim here. We have told you the rationale there was and why its in place. Instead of growing as an individual you fall back on victim blaming saying the same thing over and over again.

Moldo what would you do if you found out a friend/employee of yours was abusing his wife? Serious question.

Whoa, Kimosabe, WHAT exactly did I have to say on this topic?  I've been avoiding it.
It ain't over until it's over.
