Great post and I completely agree with you. But If only all of these situations were that cut and dry.  There’s a ton of gray areas. And by all means I’m not saying that negligence is acceptable. It’s not at all. But what if you do go to one of those professionals and they are wrong or it’s not handled accordingly?  The only thing I’m saying is you can do the absolute best you can and still find yourself in a lawsuit in today’s society.

You don't have to be a social worker: just listen to your wife.

You don't have to a social worker, you just need to report when one of your assistant coaches is involved in criminal offenses.

Being a decent person isn't that hard. Winning football games, recruiting, and being a figure head is still harder than any of that stuff listed above.
Chalk this one up as one of your best posts ever...well done.

Saw an interview with victim, she seemed strangely focused on Meyer. Now I read a story that her own mother thinks that she is lying. This could get interesting.

I mean the photos of bruises, messages from zach smith confirming to her of his abuse and the fact he was not following the terms of the restraining order that was placed are pretty damning.

The fact meyer knew of the 2015 incident, after the 2009 incident where his camp asked her to drop the charges, doesnt exactly paint him in a good picture either.

I can see where someone who is getting abused might want revenge for it too.

This just isn’t your typical divorce there, buddy. There are photos of a beaten and brused woman, text messages from the accused apologizing for choking her out, and 9 documented calls to the police, 3 documented times charges have at least been written up, and ultimately an arrest.

If you sleep better at night convincing yourself this is a “he said, she said” type of ordeal, go ahead.

I don’t really care what happens to Urban Meyer. Hopefully this investigation is just and fair to all parties.  If Urban reported what he knew thoroughly, I hope he keeps his job. If he knowing left a wife beater on his staff, I hope he loses his job. It’s pretty cut and dry for me.

I thought Durkin at Maryland would be next....that's 2/7 of Penn State's home schedule with Franklin possibly going up against interim coaches.
