Has anyone ever researched and looked into this story before?  It's kind of crazy. He used to be a big sports blogger and sort of pioneered the profession in 2001. Some thought he'd eventually make it to ESPN.  He ran a website from 2001-2012 then he stopped updating the website suddenly.  His twitter account was always active then he stopped tweeting about sports and it got a little weird then he disappeared altogether in 2013. 

Many suspected mental illness. There were some people that tried to track him down, and it was always a weird mystery on the internet every once in a while. 

Well he resurfaced today out of nowhere.  Really crazy stuff. Look it up if you never had.

Prison?

Someone did a long research piece on him, hired private investigators and everything but never released the story. He said something to the effect of “some stories don’t need to be told” and “he was hiding for a reason”

So maybe prison, but I feel like that would’ve been able to have been found through public records.
