Four with Arizona at home, three with the Dodgers on the road. Pirates should start to get some injured guys back soon.

Interesting thought, but if the Pirates are FULLY healthy, how would you make the lineup?

I think this is mine from what I've seen this season so far.

1. Adam Frazier 2B
2. Starling Marte CF
3. Corey Dickerson LF
4. Josh Bell 1B
5. Gregory Polanco RF
6. Jung Ho Kang 3B
7. Francisco Cervelli C
8. Cole Tucker SS

Bench: Elias Diaz
Bench: Colin Moran
Bench: Lonnie Chishenhall
Bench: Melky Cabrera
Bench: Erik Gonzalez

Back to the minors: Kevin Newman, Bryan Reynolds, Pablo Reyes, JB Shuck, Jason Martin, Jacob Stallings....

I might flip Kang and Polanco, but I think this looks good for what they have when they are fully healthy. Also, Melky and Moran have made good arguments to see steady at bats, but they’re both major defensive liabilities.

Yea, I think they can carve out 2 starts a week for Cabrera. Moran and Kang could probably straight platoon with Kang at this point if they wanted.

Erik Gonzalez is no where near the clubhouse. I'd rather see Reynolds and Martin stay on the bench. Reynolds was hitting .367 in the minors and came up to go 4 for 6. Martin has had a nice sample size and still batting over .300. Until Marte and Dickerson can get their act together, I'm playing hot hands. I'd also by putting Moran out more often than Kang at this point and Diaz in for Cervelli when healthy. Cervelli and Kang have just been striking out way too much.

At this point in his career, Reynolds needs to play everyday. This is not going to happen in Pittsburgh so he has to go back to Indy. He is not a bench piece.

Also, Gonzalez is good enough defensively to keep as a spot starter and late defensive replacement IF, Tucker is for real....that still remains to be seen.

If Marte can't figure out he has all-star talent and doesn't start hitting...Reynolds should get lots of playing time. Marte looks more like a trade asset every day.

Lol, Marte is playing every single day he is healthy. Martin and Reynolds aren’t that good that they can unseat him.

Well somethings gotta give. .203 in the 2 spot doesn't do us any good.

If Marte is still batting .203 in June then maybe.
