Re: FAT MAN RELAY!!!!!
I think it could possibly the dumbest thing that could possibly happen during a track meet...the only thing it accomplishes is running the risk of getting a pulled muscle and making complete idiots out of the big guys...and the big guys that do it get to pumped up about it...like it actually matters...maybe they should focus more on their own events.

the big guys get pumped about it because it is fun and freakin hilarious
they know it doesnt count...if it did it wdnt be as fun
******* the pulled muscles its a good time
thats how they see it to....they know theyre lookin like idiots...yet they still have the balls to do it go out there and make fools of themselves for fun...i think its pure beauty

Re: FAT MAN RELAY!!!!!
yeah well when one of them pulls their groin and can't throw or do whatever they do at districts or possibly states then i bet that stupid race will be a good time...and it's annoying for the runners, b/c tehy work their **** off all meet running hard races and they just want to go home but they have two wait 15 more minutes for a stupid pointless race.

Ah, they're just kids having fun. The other athletes actually get a kick out of it. If the other runners don't want to watch then they could have a skinny man shot put contest. For goodness sakes you were 17 at one time too.

Re: FAT MAN RELAY!!!!!
I've seen my fair share of fat man relays, but probably the best thing I've seen was during my sophomore year. My coach needed another guy for the 4x400 because somebody got hurt. He made a deal with one of the throwers (biiiig guy, 6'4"ish, prolly pushing 300lbs) to run it. He did it and it was probably the coolest thing I've ever seen. I can't remember if they won or not, but he got a standing ovation from everybody on the team when he came around for the last 100m.

Re: FAT MAN RELAY!!!!!
wickedcrossover...the thing is the athletes (sprinters) out there aren''t dumb enough to go out there adn do something like that...they're tired enough after the meet to go do some stupid stuff like that...it's just a waste of time...if they want to do it they can run it in practice or something...but they don't need to get excited and annoy the track teams just b/c there is actuaully people watching them for once...
