BMHS Alum, Jimmy Spisak, has qualified for the USA Championships in Albuquerque this weekend. He will be running against the Silver Medalist from the London Olympics, and the American record holder in the 3000 meter run.
Kid is ridiculous.

Jimmy will be running tonight in the Olympic trials on NBC with a shot at making the United States Olympic team in Rio in a few weeks. He will need to finish in the top 3 with a sub 28 minute time. Tough task, but quite an accomplishment to even be in the race. He's worked incredibly hard to get to this point.

Did not finish in the top 3, or even in the top 10, but what a tremendous accomplishment for Spisak just to compete at the OT. Well done JS!
