Bishop Carroll/Blacklick Valley

I went to see this game and actually was surprised at the game and fans from both schools. Because of all the hype over transfers/recruiting I thought this game would resemble more of a cage match. I am truly impressed with both teams, their student bodies and fans. Both schools were well represented by fans, Blacklick actually had a real solid fan base. I expected Bishop Carroll to beat them easily but again was wrong. Blacklick Valley has some very good players. They are disciplined on the floor and the players knew their roles. Cesarz is a real tough and Sheesley is a very good athlete as is Lauer from Carroll. BV had the game close several times late but just couldn't make it happen at the end. Both of these teams will be tough next year in District 6A with only two seniors starting in the game (one for each school).
