Separate Playoffs

BG could HYPOTHETICALLY have an assortment of the best football players (biggest/strongest/fastest linemen, most talented, physically gifted skill players) from school districts like AAHS, H-burg, W-burg, Central, B-A, Tyrone, PC, CC, Claysburg, Glendale, etc, and it would LITERALLY be legal by PIAA standards as long as the parties involved claimed they wanted that private school education. And all they need to do is commute. If the PIAA even questions anything at all. But if a public school kid transfers to another public school, the PIAA says his family has to move to that district. They exist under different rules and should therefor not be considered equal come playoff time.

Can a public school beat a loaded Private/Charter/Catholic school, in the playoffs?
Yes, as we saw Homer do last year. But, the stars gotta align just right, and it's gotta be one heckova good public school, ya gotta click your heels three times, get sprinkled with Holy water, wear garlic cloves around your neck, and have your lucky rabbits foot in your locker,...but, yes, it can happen.

Seriously though, you can't argue with the numbers. The small percentage of the non-publics, win the vast majority of basketball, and football championships. Fact.

Exactly. Since the stipulations on enrollment are so different, it's hard to shove the square peg into the round hole come playoff time.

Either go with an Indiana-like success factor to go up or down classes, or just split them up.
