According to Blitz, Tyrone only has four underclassmen (2 juniors & 2 sophomores) on their team this year. Is this true? If so, what is happening to football in Tyrone??

As I was reading Altoona’s section, the writer said that the Mid-Penn Conference (their new home) is tougher than 6A WPIAL. No way, in my opinion. Thoughts??

Yeah, no way is that the case. Lol maybe the Blitz writer was just in denial about the fact that Altoona was completely outclassed by the WPIAL competition and wanted to move to what they believed to be a less intense league. Or maybe he knows the truth. Maybe he felt like he had to make Altoona look stronger for making the move and not weaker.

Must’ve got a different copy than I did. Mine says Altoona “makes the jump back to the Mid Penn Conference this year, which doesn’t figure to be much easier than the WPIAL.”

From reading the blitz the MT. league should be fun this year. They have Clearfield as the favorite which I agree with with the players they have back.
