Yeah, right. Someone with some actual talent/ coaching acumen is going to leave a big city decent paying job to coach in J'town?

You mean like a triumvirate? Julius Caesar, Pompey the Great, and Marcus Crassus.

In order to regain the reins you ABSOLUTELY MUST hire a teacher. Making sure that the basketball coach is involved in some way would be a huge benefit. Johnstown has tons of athletes walking the halls. The potential is there however it will not be an overnight process.

Howling would be an interesting hire but unless Bill Belichik applies the school board would be crazy for hiring anyone except an already respected teacher in the building.

Isn't the younger Bassett an elementary teacher. Who would have taught some of the current high school kids?

With another 0-10 blowout season under their belts I’m now thinking that it’s probably best that Johnstown just drop their football program altogether and focus all of their efforts on boys basketball going forward.

Last nt., Jtn. kicked off. Offsides on the kickoff. After the re-kick, FH got the ball on its 46. Crawley scored the next play. On the conversion attempt, 3 straight times Jtn. jumped offsides. Thats 5 play attempts with 4 offsides. Disgraceful. After 4 or 5 fumbles out of the shotgun because of bad center snaps, don't you think the corrective move would be to put the Jtn. QB under center? ABSOLUTELY no game discipline or willingness to learn from the players. Maybe Trojan players who want to actually try to play football going forward can get those 'scholarships' to play across town. It was painful watching the implosion.

Looks like Antwuan Reed took the Johnstown job. Decent hire I guess.
