This has nothing to do with mindset, when you get yearly D1 or D2 talent transfering into the program and then remain AA it isn't hard to compete for and win state championships. Hynoski played for the NY Giants and won a Super Bowl and Flemming a few years ago was the #1 WR in the Nation and is at Ohio State. A player like that in the smaller levels of HS Football makes a HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE difference. Nothing to do with mindset and everything to do with constant flow of talent coming into the program.

Shouldn't the public schools just play harder or work harder to try to beat them? Maybe the public schools should get a coach like they have, to coach them to a state championship. Because we all know that talent doesn't win championships, it is the coaching and the work ethic of the schools that makes the difference. Correct??

Whats wrong with a point-counterpoint discussion? Something about excess heat and the kitchen.
It ain't over until it's over.

CURRENT Southern Columbia players playing at major CFB Programs in 2022. Coming from 1 school at the AA level in Pennsylvania is unheard of. Unless it's from SC.....

Julian Fleming WR Ohio State
Cal Halliday LB Michigan State
Stone Hollenbach QB Western Michigan (Transferred from Alabama)
Preston Zachman LB Wisconsin

Unless your Aliquippa, then you are a "A" electing to play up and having your entire offensive line bigger than "5A" schools.

At least Aliquippa will play up and take on the big boys, SC won't...

This list depends on a few factors. If these kids grew up in the Southern Columbia Area, you’d have to give a lot of credit to the development through the years based on the program.

If these players just happened to show up in Southern Columbia around their 9th grade year, then it speaks more on how they manage to “bring kids in.”

I would guess he’s an excellent coach. He built the program from nowhere into a powerhouse. Now he benefits from a pipeline of superior players that could win with anyone calling the plays.

SC lost this week and Farrell lost last week. Surprising for the AA state championship favorites. Not sure the level of opponents that they lost to.
