Richland will be around for a while. They have a great program and coaches just like Bedford. Even on so called down years they will still produce.

Who is the qb from Forest Hills? I heard they have a good crop of athletes in their now for all sports, male & female

East 1 should be interesting. Bg is probably the favorite but has some holes to fill. Central has to replace a generational talent at qb. Tyrone has the talent to be a very good team. Bellwood is usually solid could be the sleeper in the division. Huntingdon has a new coach can he have success in year one. Week 3 Tyrone vs Central could be the d6 AAA final preview.

I would say so. They will be battle tested and better for it late in the year. Clearfield Central BEA BG Bellwood. 5 tough games in 1st 6 weeks.

BTW the Altoona Mirror's annual colored booklet "The Blitz" has been out for a week now. Covers 32 teams this year, but not all the teams in the new LHAC on this side of the mountain. The Trib's supplement I think comes out Thur. Aug. 24.

Trib democrat football preview was not worth reading last year.
What games on the schedule are the most intriguing?

Maxpreps has Tyrone playing a team from OKLAHOMA the final week. I have to think this is a misprint unless some one knows something.

My understanding is week 10 is for East-West division crossover games. For instance if you end up as the East 1 #1 team, you will play the West 1 #1 team. Correct me if wrong.
