Re: 2023 LHAC Football
I don't think it came down to better competition, I think it came down to stability. The LHAC has been solid for years, the MAC always had quality teams but also always had a few revolving door teams, so stability was key with the merger. IMO

Will hurt them come playoff time, ask Cambria Heights. Yes fans and the community want you to win games in regular season. But multiple 7-8-9 win seasons without any post season success eats at fanbases too.EnzoLigoniere wrote: ↑October 11th, 2023, 5:41 pm Was it good or bad looking at how things have played out that some of the Westpac teams not joining.

5-5 and no playoffs vs 10-0 and get romped by the last seed on your home field. I agree most would say going 10-0 is better, but it still sucks.

This is an interesting statement. Curious how Bellwood will feel in another three years about regular season success compared to no playoffs / preparing for playoffs.CCDevil2012 wrote:5-5 and no playoffs vs 10-0 and get romped by the last seed on your home field. A quick lesson on what sucks!
The last 5 years including the current season:
Cambria Heights (A)
-32 wins 18 losses
-Playoff appearances 5 (+1 this year?)
-Playoff record 2 wins 3 losses
-Doesn't Suck
Central Cambria (AA)
-16 wins 28 losses
-Playoff appearances 1
-Playoff Record 0-1
-Sucks
*Hey CC at least you're still in the LHAC to help you prepare for the playoffs!*

The difference is we didn’t run away. And FWIW, the forest hills team that ruined your “undefeated” season was beat by usreugenev wrote: ↑October 13th, 2023, 2:44 pmHey CC2012,CCDevil2012 wrote: ↑October 12th, 2023, 11:35 am 5-5 and no playoffs vs 10-0 and get romped by the last seed on your home field. We can take a look at regular season wins all you want, but didn’t CC beat Heights their last year in the conference?
