LHAC Crossover week

Post by LeeCorso »

Richland @ Central
Penn Cambria @ Bald Eagle
Chestnut Ridge @ Clearfield
Forest Hills @ Tyrone

Everything else is up in the air depending on the games today and the tie breakers.

How about a neutral site for 1 v 1? The LHAC really sucks at conference championships.

Holidaysburg would be fine for that.

Is there an LHAC football venue that can’t handle a big game? I’m okay with it switching each year and the host school getting the concessions and admission over a neutral school that has no skin in the game. That and it would have to be a Saturday game because every other school would be playing a game that night Friday night with it being Week 10.

I'm ok with the game being on a Saturday. It would probably draw football fans from the other schools. I get the money thing, but should one team really have a home field advantage to settle a championship, because....it's their turn?

Speaking of "the money thing", I am guessing that any playoff games fall under PIAA rules and as such the fans will be forced to buy tickets online again?
It ain't over until it's over.

Saint Francis would be an awesome place to play the championship game. It would be the only opportunity for a lot of players to play in a college stadium.

As long as it remains a regular season game counting toward playoff points I don’t think you can go neutral site.
