District Five A

1. Berlin. 6-0. Next Game: Shade – After Northern Cambria scored the first touchdown of the game, the Mountaineers went to business and scored the next 53 points. Berlin has an explosive offense with multiple big play threats, and they put it fully on display last weekend. Berlin has a big one with Meyersdale looming next week, but they should not overlook a solid Shade squad either.

2. Meyersdale 5-1. Next Game: @ North Star – Meyersdale responded well after an off week by beating Conemaugh Valley 54-0. The Red Raiders have a tall task ahead of themselves this week with a trip to North Star.

3. Northern Bedford. 5-1. Next Game: @ West Branch – NBC dropped their first game of the season last week in a bit of a shootout with Mt. Union. The Panthers will look to regain their footing against a winless West Branch team this Friday.

4. Tussey Mountain. 5-1. Next Game: Juniata Valley - The Titans have reeled off four straight wins and have posted 42 + points in all four contests. They should be expecting a high scoring game again this Friday with a very good Juniata Valley team coming to town for Homecoming. Huge game in the ICC.

5. Windber. 4-2. Next Game: @ Portage – Windber survived a hard fought game from their big rivals, Conemaugh Township. Now the Ramblers have a big road test with Portage ahead, and luckily you can see that game live right here on the D6 Sports Network.

District Six AA

1. Bedford. 5-1. Next Game: @ Somerset – Bedford just keeps rolling, and that offense keeps getting better by the week. They will face their first big test since the Richland game, and that one obviously did not go so well. Bedford has gotten better, but we will find out a lot about them as they head to Somerset.

2. Chestnut Ridge. 4-2. Next Game: Kutztown – Ridge is quietly putting together a nice season. They will welcome a winless Kutztown team this Friday as the Lions look to run their record to 5-2.

3. Everett. 3-3. Next Game: Mt. Union – Many thought this Everett team could contend for an ICC title, but with three losses, they appear out of the running. Still, this team has battled with the league’s top teams but ultimately have come up short. They will welcome a very good Mt. Union team to town as the Warriors still search for a signature victory.
