They have winning records against the Brewers and Cubs I think.

That's why they are .500

Very disappointing results in SF. Gotta sweep in San Diego. No trades yet. Does anybody think anything is in the works behind the seams?

It's hard to believe that this is the same team before the West Coast trip. I have finally thrown in the white flag after tonight's performance. The fielding, base running, and hitting was lackluster and that is a reflection on the coaching staff. I think it is time to clean house and  move on. I don't think the players are listening to the message from Clint anymore and that is when you know it is over. There is talent here, they have played so many talented rookies and have hung tough, but it's over. RIP 2017 season. :( :(

I hit my breaking point with them on Friday night in San Diego. The division still stinks, but the Pirates aren't going to win it.

But what's the fun in that? When they started 6-1 after the All Star, and climbed to within 2, might as well enjoy that, no?

Like if Forest Hills is in for a bad year, do you not go to the games or read or check their scores?

3 consecutive years of 5-6.  Sounds like the Pirates, doesn't it?  But I go to support the kids, not multi-million dollar mistakes.  I usually hit the home games, and the close away ones.  I'm the first, and LOUDEST critic of Ranger athletics.  Don't use that example as an excuse, CG.
