Meanwhile Central Cambria wins 3 - 4 games next year, misses the playoffs completely. Starts talking about needing change.CCDevil2012 wrote: ↑November 21st, 2023, 8:34 amMade the right move because they won arguably the weakest Single A bracket in recent history?Safetyblitz wrote: ↑November 21st, 2023, 5:42 am Wonder if ccdevil thinks CH made the right move now?
Hats off to them for winning the games they were put in, but it’s going to be back to reality this week I’m afraid, and BG is going back down to A next year so it’s all a moot point.

Sounds like LV Did they make playoffs? By what you’re saying, you agree Heights is a better team than Liggy cause they are in the state playoffs.EnzoLigoniere wrote: ↑November 21st, 2023, 9:23 amMeanwhile Central Cambria wins 3 - 4 games next year, misses the playoffs completely. CC graduates 6 seniors, 7 if you count the part time kicker, only 3 of which started. I don’t see Bald Eagle, Penn Cambria, and Ridge being as good next year. They’ll be fine

Do you think they have a good shot of winning AA next year?

Nope but they won single A this year. At least cc’s schedule had them ready for the playoffs they didn’t make!!CCDevil2012 wrote: ↑November 21st, 2023, 10:27 amDo you think they have a good shot of winning AA next year?

Agree Bald Eagle loses alot, CR also has some losses. But Penn Cambria should remain solid.
The biggest difference in these three teams is that they are better coached.

I think Fyfe is a pretty good coach, I can’t say Felus is better than him. His track record at Altoona wasn’t great and he has benefitted from a couple of good classes of athletes. A Garrett Harold type athlete at QB will make most teams significantly better
FWIW, I’ve heard that Nagle from BEA may reclassify and graduate early

You’re right, we should run away to a new conference just for our football team to feel good!Safetyblitz wrote: ↑November 21st, 2023, 12:12 pmNope but they won single A this year. Re: Cambria Heights vs South Williamsport
Just curious: When was CH -ever- ranked in the top 10 before? #7 Esp. @ 10-3.
It ain't over until it's over.

Why is there an argument that a 1A public school should've stayed in the LHAC? They clearly made the correct decision.
