Ohio State at Penn State
This is probably the biggest game of the year so far in CFB and the winner will be in the drivers seat for a shot at a conference championship and playoff berth. Both teams have great offenses. Ohio State has a better defense but neither defense is a top tier defense at this point in the season. Pen...

Re: Pirates vs. Mets: July 26-29
This has been a very ugly game so far. The defense has been terrible. Glasnow certainly wasn’t perfect but he should have been out of that inning several times. This is the kind of game that can kill momentum.

Re: Penn State Staying Power
So GoldenRamsFAN, what do you think the staying power of Penn State is under Franklin? Do you think they can maintain being a perennial top 10 team more often than not?

Re: Penn State Staying Power
I wasn't saying Dantonio was better than Dabo or Franklin. I was saying he is a different style. Dantonio is considered as more of a hands on head coach. The 'coach em up' coach. He's viewed more like a blue collar styled coach. Which is what a lot of Penn State fans wanted. Basically another Patern...

Re: Mid Season NCAA Rankings PIAA Style
I actually counted Notre Dame and BYU as P5 teams because the schedules they play and that they are generally looked at as P5 teams. That’s why I have them in the rankings. I should have specified that more. And I do take SOS into account by adding the additional 10 points per wins the team has. So ...

Re: Mid Season NCAA Rankings PIAA Style
Some teams benefit from not having their bye weeks yet, but that should balance out in the next few weeks.
