Re: Conference Championship Weekend
Will Bishop Guilfoyle still be shorthanded for tonight's game? BG still rolling with no Witherspoon although he was In attendance but not on the bench. Also the St. Joes transfer was still out as well but sitting on the bench. All sorts of speculation on what's going on over there with Witherspoon....

Re: Portage Wrestling?
It's a complicated situation so far with a lot of "two sides of the story" being told between both members of the team and coaching staff. The community knows vaguely what went down but not sure of the exact details of how/what happened. The team was allowed to finish It's regular season s...

Re: Appalachian Bowl
Hopefully both these teams stayed healthy and are hoisting district gold in a couple weeks. Unfortunately LV's running back Miller was carried off the field with a leg Injury. Hope the young man Isn't hurt badly and can come back for the playoffs but he wasn't putting any weight on his leg and was ...

Re: Westpac - Heritage matchups
Conemaugh Valley has already tweeted out that they will not be going to United Friday due to only having 12 healthy players. Apparently being off for the last three weeks healed nobody and all their Injuries are fairly severe? I guess hopefully they're good to go if they play basketball or hockey.

Re: Playing up question
Interestingly, I dont think there is a single A team that would make any noise in AA. The LV Portage game this weekend will be a pretty good example of this. This year there is no team In Single A like a previous BG squad that could hold up against larger classifications. State wide let's be hon...

Re: Westpac - Heritage matchups
I see games 2 and 3 being possible wins for the Westpac and games 4,7 and 9 being maybe the best competitive games otherwise. I'm not sure what to think of the 5 game honestly because a few weeks ago I thought Homer Center could be an upper team In D6A. Now after some losses to some lower half Herit...

Re: Football Crisis in Rural PA?
The Bishop McCarroll Crimson Huskies are born. Oh and Conemaugh Valley has forfeited their game Saturday against Portage. Which If what a previous poster said Is true, If you forfeit two consecutive games you're done for the season? That would mean they will have forfeited their Westpac Heritage cro...
