Re: College Football Week 2

The postgame conversation probably went something like this:  Franklin - "Hey coach, good game. Your guys played hard and had us on the ropes early. Good luck , you are going to win some games this year" Leipold - "You have a nice team too coach, good luck"  Franklin - "Sorr...

Re: Conference Championships

Coin toss gives a 50/50 chance, and yesterdays results were a 50/50 split. Saints win toss, Rams force a turnover and win the game. Pats win the toss, KC cant make a stop (several 3rd down conversions) and they lose. I'm not sure any other method makes it "more fair" than what the current ...

Re: Steelers

For all we know Tomlin could be doing the amazing job of keeping it together for so long? Maybe in reality an average coach would of not been able to handle the lockeroom 3 or 4 years ago but Tomlin somehow kept most things on track. Again, one can believe what they want...….but where there is smok...

Re: PSU 2019 early predictions

Not sure how I would feel if he lands there or how he well he may play, but rumors of Brandon Wimbush possibly transferring in could give the QB position another competitor.

Re: Steelers

Konjo, put blaming the officials to bed...….so many other plays can dictate the outcome of a game. Every team gets a break with a call or has calls that go against them, that happens......take care of business and overcome it. Heck, don't tie the Browns and beat the Raiders. Nobody ever complains wh...

Re: College football playoff race: Who do you think should get in?

I agree Hank, QB on a roll, you're in a bowl game and Kentucky's starting corners had been shaken up a couple of plays earlier....go for it.

Re: Steelers

So what was the excuse in New Orleans when AB missed the mandatory team meeting and still played?  Jesse James compared the locker room to the Kardashian's...…..one can believe what they want but there is obviously a whole lot more to this then what is being said in the press conference of the head ...

Re: Steelers

Don't forget Tomlin also stated that he gave Brown a "vet day" on Wednesday. I agree, just tell the truth or say its an internal matter and is being addressed.  I also recall Rodney Harrison saying on Sunday Night Football after Steeler highlights (possibly after the Saints loss) something...

Re: College football playoff race: Who do you think should get in?

I personally believe that UCF has no business being in the CFP, for that matter I believe that they understand that and are relishing the publicity they are receiving. Heck, go undefeated, claim a National Championship, enjoy your time on ESPN as they discuss your parade and move forward. I think th...

Re: Urban Meyer's time up?

Moldo, spin it how you want, say what you want. Bottom line is, by Meyer's own admission, at minimum he lied about what he knew on the 2015 incident. That's the issue at the moment, not why a victim sought help or what she did or didn't do. The question now is why lie, why not fire Smith then? I'm s...
