Logan Williams of Homer-Center had 15 carries for 300 yards versus Purchase Line and 3 TD's, plus an 83 yard kickoff return for a TD and one reception for 17 yards to give him 400 All purpose yards.

The Homer-Center Boys were supposed to play Juniata Valley on Friday but the game has been postponed and won't be played until February 13th prior to the start of the playoffs. I am guessing the success of the football team has put the bball team behind in getting started.

Ligonier Valley is the favorite in the Heritage South, while Homer-Center and United should contend in my opinion. All 3 have a lot of talent back this year. Purchase Line will be competitive but lost a lot from last year. I think they are still the team to beat in the Heritage North though.

United just beat a very good Northern Cambria team without their best player really stepping on the field.  Shows how good of a team they are.  JV just completely shut down a BG team that seemed to be hitting their stride after struggling a little this season.  I think it’s a coin flip game I think...
