Wow. So are you saying the experiences a team has throughout the season doesn't matter? Those experiences have no bearing on future outcomes is the thought process I guess. I know on most issues which side of the aisle I fall on, but on this one I certainly have jumped ship. Everyone who sees sports as a right and scoffs at the hesitation of a school district who close schools or workouts has not worked in public education lately. High schools don't spend much money on sports. Cutting sports doesn't save much money.

High school kids don't specialize nearly as much as college athletes. Spring high school football would kill baseball, track, and tennis in our area.

I played in the PSAC and here was in season schedule: practice 3:15pm-5:30ish study hall 7-9pm if you didn't have a 3.0 GPA You met with your position coach two or three days a week sometime during the day around your class schedule.
