Re: Boys D5 Semi Finals
NBC's bench is excellent. Giving the twins a short blow two or three times a game makes them even better. Don't know much about CT, but Northern's bench might very well make a difference. It certainly played a big factor in the semifinals.

Re: Boys D5 Semi Finals
Certainly was a breakout game. NBC, as nbcsports noted, is very athletic. They played a nice game against Ridge. Coach Crawford again reinforced my opinion that for years he's been one of the best defensive coaches around. Ridge has some excellent double figure scorers. They didn't have good games b...

Re: Boys D5 Semi Finals
I'd say this game is a toss up. Every time they meet they're barn burners. Whatever the case, it's one not to miss. Some very nice players for both teams, but one of the best players in the area is Ben Pick, the Ridge senior. This kid can score facing or back to basket, spends a lot of time above th...

Re: Let's change the pace
I think the staff will move past it; what else can they do? As for the rest of us misguided fools who have loved Penn State long before Joe Paterno took the reins, it's our duty to remain mired in shame, depthless guilt, self doubt, and a host of other self-annilating emotions that shrinks make thei...

Re: PSU Football is a Cult.
In another subject post I mentioned that BC Penn State bashers had been pretty restrained. Cancel that.

Re: Sickening and Disgraceful. Period. End of Story.
Well, we knew it was going to be ugly. Nobody, except the alleged culprits, had any idea it was going to turn out like this though we might have suspected something awful was up. The justice system can be slow but also quite thorough. I guess some Penn State bashers are happy in a twisted sort of wa...

Re: Best Coach in area
I can only write about people I've seen coach. Dave Bailey has to be on any list of this kind. That's a no-brainer. But for year's I've thought Hendershot was one of the best. His teams are well-coached and skilled, they play hard, and they win games and titles. He demands a lot from his kids, and h...

Re: Everything is pointing to Tommy Bradley
Bradley's conservatism might be fine for the Big East. But man, it would be worth hiring Rod just to see his return to Morgantown.

Re: miracles do happen!
Or Arkansas for falling on the ball after the blocked punt instead of simply picking it up and walking in. I think I could have scored. Then we could have watched Pryor throw an interception.

Re: Bedford Football
Truly thought this would be a barn burner. Despite Ridge's potent offense, I never thought they would handle the Bisons, but I was shocked this was such an easy win. Congratulations to the Bedford players, who seemed totally psyched for this game, and to the coaches, who had them prepared. As one be...
