Williamsburg is now part of Juniata Valley for football. Now a team like Glendale (also has small numbers) loses Williamsburg on the schedule and JV becomes that much tougher to beat. These football mergers will prove to be tough on other small schools.

I think playing by classification could be a good thing too. Especially with the newer co-ops and AA teams forming. The single A teams that usually have 22-27 players are really going to struggle as the other teams like them are going toward co-ops. In the last few years Ferndale, Shade, and CV all ...

Slanoc will do a good job for the Mustangs. I think coaches with a strong background with defense make the transition well.
